I am a CNRS researcher at the university of Toulouse 3 – Paul Sabatier.

My research addresses (1) why some regions harbor more species than others, and (2) why some species are threatened and some are not. I use fossils and present-day data to model how the climatic preferences of vertebrates evolved through long time scales, and how this relates to current biodiversity patterns.
